The work presented seeks to reflect upon the word Foris (Latin for “outside” or “from beyond”), from which derive the ideas of the foreigner and the forest. It is a site-specific installation created within the context of Compañía 1263, occupying and reinterpreting parts of the former Fernández Concha Club.

The installation operates on two scales: a semi-geometric figure composed of lines of light traces a luminous trajectory through the space, dissolving the boundaries between the building’s interior and exterior.

On another level, a rectangle of accumulated water on the floor reflects the lines of light and the surrounding buildings.
