The proposed installation is centered around two similar Latin words that refer to different concepts. This duality has been preserved in most Romance languages.

Lĕvis means light, delicate, subtle.
Lēvis means polished, smooth, sleek.

From this starting point, an installation has been conceived that works along two axes:
light as a synonym for lightness, and water as a polished material, smooth to the extreme.

“What is polished, clean, smooth and flawless is the hallmark of our present age. It is what Jeff Koons’ sculptures, iPhones and Brazilian waxing all have in common. Why does the polished strike us today as beautiful? Beyond an aesthetic effect, it reflects a broader social imperative: it embodies today’s positive society. The polished and flawless do not wound. Nor do they offer any resistance. The polished object cancels out anything set against it. All negativity is eliminated.”
